Oh, I downloaded
Gimp, a graphics editing software from GNU. And have started using it to create somethings to go along with the party planning web app that I am working on. I made this little graphic in less than a minute after installing Gimp. Everything is intuitive. It makes me wonder why we ever pay for any software, especially when the source is available. One thing that I am really excited about (and would be excited about even if I didn't download Gimp) is that on the Gimp page there are some great tutorials ranging from beginner to advanced. I have always wanted to learn some advanced graphics methods.
